How do I sign-up?

You can sign-up by going through the flow at the Johnnify Premium Website.

You will need a GitHub account!

Why do I need to login with GitHub?!

Outside of showing your support, which is of great value to me, the biggest value for you is the exclusive access to all the private repos in the GitHub organization!

That automation needs to link your GitHub account so you can be invited to join 🙂

Why a subscription?!

Two key reasons!

1. Demand & Usefulness

I love building products I find interesting and useful, and the biggest ask by far is for me to make more SaaS apps! Subscription models are here to stay, and people want to make products using it.

So, what better way to ensure my starter stays maintained, than using it to maintain my own SaaS-style subscription product? 😄

Also doubles as a “Patreon-alternative”: Instead of funnelling your audience into Patreon and let it get its hefty cut, why not leverage the monorepo starter, cut out the middleware and only have to deal with the smaller Stripe fees? 🙌

2. Budgeting!

I love putting in more effort and money into my free livestreams and videos and other content, but it can easily get out of hand 😅

Having subscriptions means I have a clear monthly budget of how many domains, and courses, and databases, and email service providers, and so on, I can keep maintaining, just for all that free content!

I really just want a one-time donation, what can I do?

First of all, truly, your attention in this day and age is a blessing: I’m happy to teach you and hope you keep learning things through my content! No need to force yourself to donate anything!

If you really want to donate, consider going through the subscription flow, then cancelling so you won’t forget. You’ll still have access to the private repos for a month, so I can feel I provided more value to you, and I won’t need to implement anything special just for one-time donations 😄
